I bought this book and one other for my soon to be 5 year old grandson, after a teacher recommended your books. He loves it, the dogs, the realistic NZ content. We’ve read it so often he is starting to join in.
    I’ve just ordered 4 more.

Thank you for your comments Karen. It is really pleasing to hear feedback from parents and teachers. Your order will be in tomorrows post.

    Brainwashing for children

    • Peter Hills

Nobody is brainwashing children. In this country children are free to do as they wish with their parents and if it involves hunting so be it. I do not expect you to understand this, but hunting and fishing actually teaches kids to respect the animals that they hunt and catch. It also involves them getting out into the back country and they learn some of lifes lessons and develop skills. This is surely better than having them sit around as key board warriors. If you ever take the time to read a book or look at the comments from those who do you will see that you are in fact in a very small minority. I note that you appear to be from somewhere in the U.K. Please do us all a favor and stay there.

Spot on, every next sentence we have a giggle because it’s like reading about our weekend adventures!

Its good fun writing these stories for the kids knowing that they are reading and enjoying them. There are a lot more books to come about everyday life.
